The FAIR!

I have to warn you...I have not posted in a long time so I have added a few a few things today.

We have had a tradition since we started dating to go to the Jackson fair every year. It just so happened to fall on the same day as the Canton Flea Market this year! Yeah for me! Troy took off Thursday. We spent the night at the camp Wednesday so I could get up bright and early Thursday for Canton. I was really excited to go this year! Since we didn't have a booth I could take my time and shop for Christmas gifts:)
I got there early then met Rebecca and Graham there around noon. I only lasted a few more hours. One thing about pregnancy...I do not have the stamina I once had. Also, if you were there you knew how miserably HOT it was! I got sunburned too!

I ran by to visit my grandmother on route to the fair. She is at Waterford in Madison and has really enjoyed it. I talked her in to coming home with us that night to spend a few days!

Off to the fair we went! It was only the second night so it was still very clean and the breeze was great!

My favorite 'ride'
Troy's mom, Deanna

We thought about trying the fair sushi...JUST KIDDING! I mean really...?

Troy's favorite part is touring the barn. I think our children may be involved in 4H at some point...which I don't mind! The kids that are there take such pride in their animals and I know a lot of hard work goes in to what they do to prepare. We got the 'run-down' on how it all works from one dedicated dad. He was there trimming his daughters cow but was headed back to their hometown that night b/c she was a homecoming maid the next day...well rounded gal in my opinion! I thought the cow above was the prettiest I saw...then Troy pointed out the nose ring!

Troy said the goats were afraid of the swine flu:) HA!
