A Sweet Shower

My sweet friends gave Troy and I a precious baby shower a few weeks ago at my parents house. I am blessed beyond measure with such wonderful friends and family. Jessica (my sister in law), My sister Grace, Me, Stephanie Mayfield, Rebecca Goldman and Anna Henson

Some precious friends that I count on ALL THE TIME for advice!

Sweet Rebecca and Anna spent the weekend with us. It's crazy...we are all three pregnant right now! We did home test to figure out what they were having. All I can say is don't rely on the needle swing test or any of the other 10 wives tales!

My mom did all the flowers and did a fabulous job! She also made my dress one night 3 days before the shower from a bathing suit tunic pattern. I had the bright idea I was going to make it but in reality all I did was cut it out and sew a few seams! I am telling you she is wonder-woman!

Grace had a precious idea of getting people to give Troy and I advice on being parents. I have put these on a ring that hangs on the side of her crib to help me remember the advice of godly women every day. Troy and I have read over them over and over again. This is far better than any gift we could have ever received. I will cherish these!

Mom used my grandmother and great-grandmother's china. The spoons were the ones my mom fed me with when I was a baby.

Well, our bags are packed and we are ready to go if the time comes! I am 38 weeks tomorrow! I can't believe it! I am so ready to meet her. I still feel really good (except for a little less sleep at night). I have a feeling she may be a little later than we think but we are ready just in case.
