Blueberry pickin

Last Sunday night we made a trip to the blueberry field not far from our house. Mary Brooke's favorite fruit is a blueberry so we knew she would love it. Grandmother Kent was in town so she made the trip with us. As we were leaving she said it was her first time, as well as MB's, to pick blueberries so they shared a first...89 years old and 1 year old.

She knew exactly how and what to pick and the branches were dripping with berries!

We left plenty so if you live around the 'burg you MUST make a trip! The fields are off Richburg Road and are open M-F and Sun from 7am-7pm (go late...it's cooler/bearable). A gallon bag (A LOT of berries) is a steal at $10!
